These 5 tips are practical and can totally fit into your holiday. No matter where you are off to this year, try one (or all!) of these tricks to stay looking great the whole time! Also, these tips can be tweaked a bit to suit your preferences. For example, if you don't like to swim, then you can do for a walk, hike, or good bike ride! Hitting the beach? Take a stroll on the sand or peruse the boardwalk while getting your steps in. An early morning bike ride is invigorating and is a wonderful way to start the day!
In colder destinations, you can walk around the historic sites, or spend time in a museum (lots of walking!) There are also great cold weather activities like snowboarding, sledding, ice skating, and skiing (just don't get hurt!)
If you fail to plan, you plan to fail! Bringing along some things that will motivate you to stay active will certainly help you on vacation. I always sneak a resistance band and a yoga mat in my luggage; they're super light and easy to bring along. Some activewear and trainers, and I'm all set to get a great workout in! You'll notice that a lot of my workout videos are between 10 and 15 minutes and are filmed in beautiful locations. I travel AND work out, and you can too!
While you're looking up your next destination, be sure to check out any activities you can do there. Maybe the hotel has a fitness center, pool, or other space for yoga and exercise.
