3 Reasons Why Protein is Important PLUS My Favorite Protein Waffle Recipe

Adding enough protein to your diet is extremely important because it keeps you feeling full and if you want to get toned it’s essential for building muscle. It might seem hard to do with some of your favorite recipes whether waffles, smoothies, or pancakes so today I want to show you how possible it is. 


I’ll give you my favorite protein packed waffle recipe along with 3 reasons why you need to make sure you’re getting adequate amounts of protein in your diet.


WAFFLE RECIPE: 


Ingredients -

Waffles

  • 2 scoops of Rebecca’s healthy meal mix
  • 2 scoops of Rebecca’s protein
  • ½ cup of egg whites
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Vanilla extract to taste

Toppings

  • Greek yogurt
  • Berries
  • Pecans
  • Shaved almonds
  • Almond butter

Instructions -

  1. Mix ingredients until smooth.
  2. Place in a waffle iron until cooked through.
  3. Top with desired ingredients.

Nutrition - 

Serves: 1 | Serving size: 1 Waffle

Protein 27g | Carbs 18g | Fat 4g | Fiber 3g
