Ok - I’m all about you all feeling the BURN! I want to make sure you aren’t feeling that SUNburn this summer! We focus so much on what we put in our body, I want to make sure we take some time to protect the outside. When we go to the beach, cookouts, or any outdoor activity - we have a higher risk of damaging our skin. Here are my summer skincare hacks to protect your skin and maintain your glow: 

Your skin is the largest organ of your body! When it comes down to living a healthy lifestyle, it’s important to take care of every inch of yourself! Our organs are made of cells, and cells are made up of water - so without water, your skin will not hydrate properly. It’s recommended to drink 8 glasses of water a day for the body to do its job! Get ready for a radiant, healthy, and a young-looking complexion after drinking all your H2O! 

You have to take sunscreen seriously! Guys… it’s so simple and could save your life! I recommend that you wear SPF 30 or higher all day, every day that you’re in the sun. AND it’s true, those days you least expect to get a burn are when UV rays are very powerful. To protect your skin, throw on your favorite hat, cover up where you can, throw on some shades, and find a favorite sunscreen! Don’t forget to reapply :-) If you’re located in the US, you can purchase sunscreen from my store. 

Exfoliating is a MUST in every skincare routine! In the summer dead skin cells, dirt, and sweat starts to build up - so it’s time to scrub it off. This will unclog your pores and zap your blemishes to give you a nice summer glow! You don’t have to break the bank to exfoliate - a loofah or homemade sugar scrub will do. 

Get your Vitamin C in! It not only aids to a healthy immune system, but it’s also an antioxidant! This will produce collagen - and will improve the texture and appearance of your skin to maintain a radiant look! 

If you get a little pink on the beach, it’s not the end of the world! Though - it’s important to treat your skin after the sun. Aloe will help revamp your skin. It contains antioxidants, enzymes, vitamins, and is anti-inflammatory. It’ll relieve the pain of your burn! I recommend the Aloe in my store (can only ship in the US) - that’ll do the trick!
