Coronavirus Quick Update

There are so many new developments every day and it’s hard to keep track. I wanted to take a second to give you some quick updates as of March 21st and a way to stay healthy during this time.

  • All 50 states have reported cases of the coronavirus.

  • There are 89 public health labs that offer testing and have completed verification.

  • There are around 19,600 reported cases and at least 260 deaths in the U.S.

  • New York has the most reported cases.

  • Residents in California, Connecticut, Illinois, Oregon, New Jersey and New York have been directed in some capacity to stay at home unless leaving for essential matters.

  • All non-essential travel to Mexico and Canada is suspended.

  • Tax day has been moved from April 15th to July 15th.

  • What every American can do to help stop the spread:

    • Wash your hands

    • Think carefully about meetings and travel

    • Be mindful when handling food

    • Minimize outings and social gatherings as much as possible

  • Make sure to read The President’s Coronavirus Guidelines for America

Here in Newport Beach, CA we are very restricted as we try to stop the spread of the coronavirus. All non-essential businesses (including gyms) have been shut down and we are ordered to stay at home unless leaving for approved matters. This being said, staying active is one of the best ways to boost endorphins, keep a good mindset and stay healthy and we need it now more than ever.

Because of the financial strain the coronavirus has had, I want to make it affordable for everyone to stay healthy so it is now only $3 to join the BURN app where you get a new workout and meal plan every day!
