MY 1ST BBQ ON JULY 4TH!

The Fourth of July holiday was a great opportunity for me to create my second vlog! I was chilling poolside with my good gal pal Autumn, and we were getting ready to cook up some delicious goodies on the grill. Little did we know that the gas grill would be super temperamental!

You have to admit, it's a stellar view!

If you've been following me for a while, then you know that my cooking skills are not too sharp. As my vlog shows, there were some snags in getting that old grill going! I was a bit nervous that we were going to get kicked out, but it was all good in the end! At least we didn't end up blowing up the place...and once we got things going, the rest of the day went smoothly.

Our Fourth of July BBQ featured some turkey sausages and chicken breasts sprinkled with some salt and black pepper for extra flavour. I had to show that I could at least season up the meat on the grill! We also had some nutritious and delicious guacamole to serve on the side...what a nice spread of lean protein and healthy fats! Remember everyone, you can still eat well and balance your meals during the holidays!
