Your new year starts when you say so! I'm here to help you with this video on how to stay motivated each and every day of 2017 and beyond. What is it that you truly want? Pay attention to that. It can be in any aspect of your life, but it's crucial to open the mind so you can zero in on those goals.

The first step in getting motivated about your goals is to set your intentions. Write these down so that you can revisit them throughout the weeks; this will keep you on track! What is it that you want this year for yourself, but also your friends and family? Look at that vision and expand it. Don't be afraid to make it big! The only limitations are the ones you put up in your mind!

Bring people into your vision and tell them about your plan. Letting others know about your intentions will help to keep you accountable while also incorporating those you care about into your vision.



We all have choice. No matter what situation you're facing, you have a choice in how you see it, how you deal with it, what you do with it. Circumstances may seem negative, but you need to believe that you have a choice in the matter. This opens up your opportunities so much! Expand your mind!

We're not all the best at everything, but we all have gifts. What is it that you are good at and you enjoy? What CAN you do? Focus on that, and you'll find that your energy goes to it and amazing things will happen. When you wake up in the morning, are you thinking about the things that you can't do? Change that mindset and remember what you can do and what you're going to do with it!



Don't be afraid of letting go. This is a part of life and sometimes you need to CLEAR things and people out of your life in order to CREATE something even better. Surround yourself with people who emanate a positive, can-do attitude. Separation doesn't mean failure, it means growth. You might be surprised how people respond to your letting go; you might even inspire them to let go of a harmful job, relationship, or belief. What are you going to clear and create in 2017?

I'm speaking from experience here. I've been in those situations and I know that things are difficult. I know that growth is terrifying and it can seem like a huge risk. But trust me, it's okay to change. In fact, it's necessary for personal growth!

There's a word I like to use a lot: consistency! Stick with something, or find something that you can stick with. Goals can seem daunting, but how are you supposed to change and achieve those goals if you don't' stick with it? Find inspiration and motivation in books, videos, blogs, pictures, and quotes, and make this a part of your daily life. Actively listen and then ACT and be CONSISTENT with it! We don't want split-second motivation, we want consistent, long-lasting motivation.

This might require that you ask for help. Asking for help is a sign of strength, please remember that. Don't take it personally; growth demands that you ask for help and that you be challenged by others. Look to the people who are doing what you'd like to be doing, then ask and listen, because guess what? Mistakes make you grow. They aren't stopping points, they're learning experiences.
