Celebrate my birthday with me next month!

I'M TURNING 30!

They say the older you become the faster time flies and it could not be more true. I am not scared, nervous or agitated about turing the big 30 next month. More so, I am excited for this next chapter of my life, to learn and to grow more. Every year we get on this planet should be utilized to the max - be grateful for everyday and don’t let the small things get to you!

I wanted to share a couple of photos with you from when I was younger so you can have a good laugh at my rosy cheeks and poses for the camera! Before that, I am inviting you all to spend my birthday with me. I was born in the 80’s and maybe this is why, but I LOVE 80’s music. So when I heard that there was an event happening in Huntington Beach, California in my birthday month I knew it was exactly how I wanted to celebrate. Head on over to Like Totally Festival to join me for an 80’s day party in Southern California on the 12th of May. I can’t wait to dress up in my favorite era and dance the day away with my favorite people!

A little about how I started out in this world. Born in a small town called Eastbourne, UK on 7th May 1988 at 5:25pm in the local hospital. My mum working as a teacher and my dad working for a printing company. I had all 4 grandparents within 30 minutes of our family home. I was the first grandchild on my mums side and the first girl grandchild on my dad's side.

Growing up, I've been told, I was always very determined. At 3 years old at nursery school I would tell the adults that I didn’t need help and I could  tie my own shoes! I wasn’t a huge fan of school and mostly liked doing my own thing or playing sports!

From 11-18 I played all the sports you could imagine, captain of the sports teams and took it very seriously. I took dance classes from 2-19 years old and still have a huge passion for it. Events happen when we play sports of get involved with activities that can shape your life forever. I will never forget being dropped from the south of England hockey team after I just played the best game of my life. Or when my dance teacher wouldn’t let me go to London do a ballet exam even though I had just aced the last exam. This could of crushed my soul, I used it as a way to drive me through life. So if something tough happens throughout your life, whatever age you are, turn it into a positive and fuel for you to do something even more great!!

Let me know if you want to hear more about my story and I will continue the journey. I hope to see you in your 80’s gear rocking out to some awesome music with me in May! Remember you can get your tickets here 👉🏻 http://www.liketotallyfestival.com/
