3 Ways to Stay Productive in Quarantine

Most states have some sort of order, urging people to stay at home to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Here in California, we have a stay at home order where we can’t leave unless going to the store, doctor, or other essential outings...

With all this in mind, I want to give you all some tips I have implemented to stay on track with my goals while having to be at home:

KEEP A ROUTINE -

No matter what, I have found it helpful to stick to the same routine. This means waking up at the same time I did before the lockdown, doing at home workouts, staying on track with my eating, working at the same time I used to, etc. If you let these things slip, you’re going to stop being as productive.

STAY ACTIVE AND EAT HEALTHY -

Just because you’re sitting inside most of the day, doesn’t mean it’s an excuse to not workout and stop fueling your body correctly! It’s easy to watch Netflix and eat junk food, but is this really going to make you feel better? Moving your body and eating the right foods will help keep you in good spirits and wanting to be productive!

FIND NEW WAYS TO SOCIALIZE -

Socializing is important in staying productive because it allows you to take a break and feel connected. Having support from those around you is essential in staying motivated while working towards your goals. FaceTime a friend, have a Zoom call with multiple friends, call your loved ones!
