Yoga with Weights

ARMS, LEGS, AND ABS

Yoga with weights will have you slimmed down and toned up all over! We're going to be working on our flexibility with a few classic yoga moves, then add in some variations that will have you feeling the burn!

There's no way you missed the beautiful backdrop of this video filmed in Mexico at Grand Velas Los Cabos! Stay tuned for my upcoming blogs where I take you on a tour of the incredible scenery, fantastic food, and amazing activities!

Here are the exercise moves you can expect in this week's video:

  • HIGH PLANK
  • DOWN DOG
  • LUNGE BICEP & HAMMER CURLS
  • LEG EXTENSIONS
  • TRICEP KICKBACKS
  • WARRIOR 2 PULSES
  • V-SIT EXTENSIONS

Yoga is a great practice for focusing on proper form and technique, which is so important for avoiding injuries when exercising! If you feel discomfort in certain areas of the body while doing any of these moves, pause the video for a moment and do a quick search about modifications to accommodate your body (if I haven't provided an alternative - which I try to work in there)! Once you look up a modification and get the feeling for a certain exercise, your muscles will develop memory that will help your physical activity in the future.

Reaching goals and shedding extra weight requires 20% exercise and 80% nutrition. Diet is the most critical component of a healthy body, and quick-fix fads are not the solution!
