Alphie and I got together and came up with 5 holiday health guidelines. Stick to them and there is no chance of you losing your health or gaining inches over the next month and a half. Where I am in the world we have Halloween, followed by Thanksgiving, Christmas and straight into New Year's Eve! Lots of events and a weeks-long party season. All around the world, with many different cultures, we have so much going on at this time of the year! So, here are our tips. Watch the video for more details!

Come Thanksgiving, you’ll be looking to cut calories wherever you can. You don’t have to cut the holiday fun with these drinks!. Here are five low-cal cocktails that complement turkey, stuffing, and sides.
Alcohol does slow down your metabolism and will effect your results. It takes four days for it to leave your system, which is why you will struggle with working out a few days after!
This is a delicious, low-calorie fall twist to a traditional cocktail.
Ingredients: two ounces vodka, half ounce lime juice, half ounce apple spiced simple syrup, three dashes angostura bitters, ice.
To make the apple spiced simple syrup, combine one teaspoon ground cinnamon, one teaspoon ground ginger, one teaspoon ground allspice, one teaspoon ground nutmeg, one cup sugar, one slice of an apple, and a half cup of water in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and strain into a container.
To make the cocktail, place all ingredients in a shaker with some ice and shake. Strain through shaker into a glass.
This cocktail is the perfect Thanksgiving drink because it combines cranberries and spices. Classic!
Ingredients: two ounces vodka, one ounce lime juice, one ounce simple syrup, six mint leaves, half ounce diet cranberry juice, two ounces club soda, handful of cranberries
To make the cocktail, add the mint, lime juice, and sugar in a tall glass, and then add the remaining ingredients to the glass with ice and stir.
Though this might not be a traditional fall drink, its icy berry flavors are surprisingly refreshing and autumnal.
Ingredients: two ounces raspberry flavored vodka, six fresh blackberries, pinch of fresh basil, one ounce soda, one ounce diet lemon-lime soda
To make the cocktail, place ice in a cocktail shaker, and then gently squeeze the juice from the blackberries and add the berries to the shaker. Chop the basil into small pieces, and throw in the shaker. Then pour in vodka and shake. Finally, add both sodas and pour into a glass.
Who needs dessert when you can have a light, refreshing cocktail that tastes just like apple cobbler?
Ingredients: two ounces Disaronno liqueur, one ounce cranberry juice, one ounce apple juice, fresh lemon juice, two dashes Peychauds bitters
To make the cocktail, place all ingredients into a shaker and shake well with ice. Then strain into a cocktail glass.
This spiced hot cider is the quintessential autumn drink. It contains cinnamon, apple, and clove flavors. Served hot, it will keep you warm all Thanksgiving day.
Ingredients: four cups apple cider, one cinnamon stick, five whole cloves, half cup apple brandy, three tablespoons cinnamon schnapps
To make the cocktail, place the apple cider, cinnamon stick, and whole cloves into a pot, and bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat and simmer for a few minutes. Add the apple brandy and cinnamon schnapps. Serve hot and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
